"Pros: Beautiful restored and lovingly appointed house up in the hills around Ballyliffin. Remote and quiet yet minutes from town and markets for food. Beds were super comfortable and kitchen was quite usable (which is not always the case). Cons: Maybe being from America but the light switches and how they connected to each other proved a mystery to all of us. Otherwise the electric appliances and the dual range all worked very well. Some basic things like sugar and cooking oils weren't available and it was indicated that basic pantry items would be. Not a problem as we could get to the market easily enough.
