Spoon and the Stars Hostel is located in the walled town of Drogheda, and offers the perfect base from which to explore the historic Boyne valley. The beautiful Georgian building features contemporary décor and free WiFi is available throughout. Accommodation options range from dormitory to en suite private rooms, and every one of Spoon and the Stars’ comfy beds has either a goose feather or microfibre duvet. The rooms all have central heating and some offer views of the hostel's gardens, or Drogheda Viaduct. A continental breakfast is included and is served from 08:00 to 10:00. Spoon and the Stars is located less than 8 miles from Brú na Bóinne (Palace of the Boyne), a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most important archaeological sites in Europe. Slane Castle, Mellifont Abbey and the Monasterboice ruins are all less than 20-minutes drive away. Dublin Airport is 23 miles away.

Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 2 years old stay for free when using an available cot. Children up to and including 6 years old stay for free when using an available extra bed. People 7 years old and over stay for € 15 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
