"Pros: Really spacious house with beautiful views of the coast. Brian was very responsive on text to help when needed. The house is about a 15-20minute walk from the town but they shared taxi numbers in case we ever needed them. Bedrooms were all a good size and plenty of bathrooms for everyone. Also plenty of mirrors which was a bonus when everyone is getting ready together. Garden was lovely with a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend!" ~Niamh
"Pros: 1) The property manager was very accommodating, promptly addressing issues and questions that emerged (e.g., fixed a shower drainage problem identified on the night of Day 1 - communicated on Day 2 - by Day 3 of 14 and provided new shower curtains; picked up prepared trash from location for us while away). 2) Keys were available immediately upon arrival through coordination with the property manager, and check-out was effortless. 3) The location was fairly quiet, with main room windows facing northwest (bedroom windows facing southeast). 4) The downstairs entrance had wall hooks for coat-hanging, necessary for the rain. 5) The provided Nespresso (pod) espresso maker - this was a surprise that I used daily (SuperValu has the pods).
Cons: 1) I would have benefited from more explicit and general guidance on property management before arrival (nothing went wrong, but I was unsure about a lot). 2) The outer door house entrance is downstairs, with an additional outside-to-inside door segment followed by an immediate staircase. Every room is upstairs. 3) The house is significantly uphill from the rest of downtown Dingle, and the rains keep the ground wet. If you plan to walk around and make purchases, just keep this in mind as the "hike" requires adequate mobility. 4) One individual said the bed comfort was acceptable given the price, but another individual chose to sleep on the floor multiple nights instead. 5) The bathroom sink has separate cold and hot water faucets - there is a drain-stop if you want to mix them, but otherwise, you're stuck with either cold or hot. 6) Finding the location in strong wind/rain on arrival was a challenge (I had no initial bearings), and it was far easier to provide directions to others about where I was staying afterward. 7) The water pressure for the shower head is poor. You need to stand within a foot of the shower drain. 8) The water refill time for the toilet can be long, depending on the number of guests staying. Again, the property manager's attentiveness made it better than tolerable." ~David
