"Pros: I really liked the location - it's beautiful and peaceful, you wake up looking at the sunrise over the ocean. Pool is nice and the rooms had a nice feel but my door was broken and I showed the girls but they didn't fix - I do think mosquito nets in the huts would be a welcome addition as the gaps in the wood meant I had to wear bug spray every night but still got bitten. Cons: I hate to say negative things BUT there are some small adjustments that would have made my stay a lot better. First of all it is so difficult that the staff don't speak English so can't help you easily and as nusa penida is under developed you need local knowledge but staff very nice it's just tricky when they can't speak English. The breakfast- they don't have everything as the menu says - ordered fruit platter with yogurts and honey and its only a plate of watermelon. No milk for coffees when on the menu it says they have. There are shops close by so I found milk and everything is clean and for the price you can't complain to much ❤️ My friend ended up leaving early because the staff couldn't communicate with her and she thought the breakfast was so bad BUT I stayed 5 nights and enjoyed my time - I would come back for the pool and the view but the staff did let it down a little - even though they are very nice I think some effort into learning more basic English would be great ND for breakfast they should have what they say on the menu so people don't get disappointed when food arrives" ~Claire

"Pros: The location and the garden were really stunning. In the Morning, the sunrise makes your day. It's just an exceptional place to feel good and comfortable. "Pros: Very nice place to stay. Highly recommended. The owner is taking care of all the needs of the guests. He supports or does by himself: Pickup/drop off from/to harbour, to laundry service, to nearby activities like Cactus Beach bar. He assists in tour planning like snorkeling with manta and day trips to the east and west coast of Nusa Penida. He invited guests to local ceremonies like a wedding and mentioned he typically does organize a farewell barbecue on the last evening. He is very friendly, respectful and open- minded and finds solutions for everything. The breakfast is cooked freshly by the mother of the owner, very kind and friendly lady. Big room, wonderful garden, great sea view, beautiful sunrise, Wifi in room worked nicely. Reusable cups, coffee and sugar available in the room were very nice. Also very nice to have mosquito repellent spray in room. Will definitely come back!!! Cons: Very small improvements could be: - water to refill daily at the reception. - black tea in the room - a small fridge would be nice to store some food.
