"Pros: What a great experience! We spent 4 nights and we were hesitating since my wife and I are always looking for something to do but we didn’t get bored. Lot of activities and exploring to do on the island, with a feeling of being alone on the island sometimes. Both MB Camp and MB Palambak island were great. I believe the price/experience ratio is very good. Don’t expect luxury but that’s not what it pretends to be. Things work as it should and is well organized, staff is super nice and actually spoke decent English (saw some reviews from the past which says they did not). Food is amazing and very rich. And finally big heads up to Claudine, who is ultra responsive, striving for guests wellbeing. We had a small issue at the end of the trip which was solved in 5mn. Also don’t worry about bringing enough cash because everything is cashless. Big thanks for this amazing experience" ~Romain

"Pros: A really enjoyed staying Here, it was what I wanted. Danny ,the owner, is very friendly and always happy to do anything extra for the guest. Really nice built bunglalows with a private bathroom, which you don't get in the other resort ,, good food, lots of fresh fish.They dont have any activities priorgsnised but they can organize it for you, it would be bit pricey as all trips around the here are. Yeah you might see a rat but it's not like they're running around, actually I only saw one after 5 days staying here. Considering the price it's really the best deal on the Island Descover paradise at the Palambak Paradise Resort" ~Darko

Tailana Island Pulau Banyak

"Pros: We had a wonderful time in Tailana! The island is paradisiac and it's easy to snorkel around it because there's almost no water current. Also, you can wear whatever type of bathing suit you feel comfortable wearing here. The facilities are beautiful and a great compromise between comfort and adventure. Beds are great, the bungalow was clean and spacious, the mosquito net is probably the best one we've encountered in our trip so far, toilets were always clean, and we really enjoyed the open-air coconut shower. The manager Thomas and his helper Lukas are very friendly people, and made sure we had everything we needed to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We also loved the food. Edo is such a talented cook, and he didn't mind us watching every step of the preparation of our meals and asking him lots of questions. We would definitely come back to this place because the whole experience was beautiful. Cons: That we had to leave :(" ~Rocío

"Pros: It’s been more than a week since we came back, and I find it hard to start writing a review coz it feels like such a remote dream to me now. I miss the serene atmosphere there and the hospitality(but not excessive)of our hosts. The meals were amazing considering the variety of food ingredients were limited due to the nature of the island, so great thanks to our chef Aton. The crab hunting was such a fun experience. Yo was so agile and skillful in the jungle and the crabs could not have turned into a gourmet dinner without him. Regrading touring around the island, after breakfast will be an ideal time as the tides are relatively low. I would suggest (facing the bungalows) go clockwise so that you would have a little challenges crossing the falling tree trunks and boulders etc.,at first, but the trip gets easier and you would come across some fine sandy beaches when getting near to the bungalows from another side, where you will have the urges to jump into the sea for a swim or snorkeling. It’s a long way to get to the island, but Ira would give you all the info and help you need. Make sure to stay long enough to relax and enjoy some peaceful reading time before you head back to the bustling cities. Cons: The only problem I had there was that it was a bit hard to have good quality sleep as the bungalows are not very well ventilated (even with the door and windows opened up). I don’t know if this will get better at a different season. Maybe(if it’s possible) installing a small ceiling fan to help the air circulating would greatly improve the situation." ~Yang

"Pros: We stopped at MB Camp Singkil on the way to Palambak. The bungalows, which are located on a bank of a river, are clean, spacious and have AC (which is a must as the weather was very hot and humid). The views were beautiful. Overall, an excellent stop over before / after the Banyaks. Cons: The accommodation seemed to be a bit pricey, considering that it didn't have a private bathroom. However, there are a few / none other places of the same quality in the area. We had some chicken with rice for dinner and the portion was rather small (rice was okay, but I got a chicken wing which was tiny)." ~Aisgar
