"Pros: The houseboat is in the quieter of the two lakes in Srinagar and was as peaceful as it gets. It’s roomy and beautiful and more visitors should come here. It’s situated right next to a park, meaning you can wander whenever you feel like it. There are many birds - lovely to be wakened by them in the morning - as well as sparrows and swallows, there are egrets, kites, herons and we even saw a hoopoe. Ajaz and his family went out of their way to make our stay special, with good home-cooked food. Cons: N/A" ~Fiona
