"Pros: We had room only and arrived about 9.30pm in the evening, the room was modern and well furnished. Our room was on the 5th and top floor next to the restaurant, hotel reception and a hotel public washroom. It was only the next morning when we realised how noisy it was and asked to be moved, to which the management were very understanding and we were offered a better room for 500 Rupees extra per night, which we accepted. We had a reasonably sized room, which was well furnished and decorated, and had fantastic view across the southern valleys. We really enjoyed the Chicken Biryani on the night we ate there and the restaurant was always busy. Once you orientate yourself the hotel is well positioned near to the ridge, the mall and Christ Church. Cons: Not the hotels fault, but just be aware of the monkeys. Don't wear glasses or sunglasses and keep your phone out of sight when not in use, but that is a problem all over Shimla." ~Alfred
