From guiding us through the entire trek plan, helping with transport arrangements, and even suggesting the best timings and routes — he made everything smooth and stress-free. His local knowledge was invaluable, and his kindness made us feel right at home. The food he prepared was absolutely amazing — fresh, homely, and exactly what we needed after our long treks. Every meal felt like it was cooked with care. But what truly stood out was his warmth. Always smiling, always helpful, and treating us like his own — Deewan ji is the kind of host who turns a trip into a beautiful memory. If you're planning a visit to Tungnath or Chopta, staying at his place isn’t just a stay — it's an experience. Highly recommended! Cons: The view was too beautiful — now our phone wallpapers feel sad. Deewan ji’s food was too good — came back with memories and weight gain. He set the hospitality bar so high, now every other host feels like a disappointment. We didn’t want to leave… seriously, we considered hiding and extending our stay. "Pros: I had the most wonderful stay at Cafe Buransh, being a solo traveller it was the most amazing experience I could have ever got! Cafe Buransh is nestled amidst breathtaking mountains, the location offers stunning views of Chopta Valley and Sari Village that you can enjoy right from the comfort of your room or the cozy balcony. The peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat for anyone looking to escape the chaos of the city. I travelled from London specially to stay in this place, because have read about Cafe Buransh on its site about the idea of creating this place at Sari village and the Owner has considered many ways of sustainable environment friendly aspects to build this homestay. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel like part of their family. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The home-cooked meals were a highlight of the trip – delicious, fresh, and made with love. I also appreciated the little touches, like the outdoor seating area to enjoy morning tea while watching the sunrise, and the helpful tips from the hosts about nearby trails and attractions. This place is a gem for anyone who loves nature, tranquility, and genuine hospitality. My stay was peaceful retreat away from the noise. I was impressed with the room maintenance as its mentioned on the site, it keeps you warm with cosy feel inside the room , great in terms of the cleanliness and welcoming staff. I had visited this place in 2018 while i was on Chandrashila trek, since then waited for this day to come again and stay at this place.
