"Pros: The best thing about this hotel is the incredible Ganga view, so definitely book a room with the view. Monkeys come to visit at the windows, too! The food from their kitchen was noteworthy, obviously made with fresh ingredients and care. The staff was helpful with directions and booking taxi service and such. Cons: My first 2 nights there the entire hotel smelled of piss and they burned a lot of incense, I guess to try to cover it up. That made for a very unpleasant experience, esp trying to eat at the restaurant. My room was okay, but the toilet leaked when flushed and there was a strong sewer gas smell. I turned on the vent but later found that it vented into the hotel hallway. I mentioned the problem, &they sent someone to check, but nothing was done. Later, the AC unit fell apart and made a horrible noise. There was no way I could stay in that room. Luckily they offered me another room, a slight upgrade. That was fine. The place, in general, is never detail- cleaned, but acceptable if you're not too particular. There's no elevator, but they will carry your bags for you." ~Antoinette
