"Pros: I had a wonderful stay with a warm, welcoming family! I was well taken care of throughout my visit. The room was cozy and clean, and the food was absolutely amazing. They provided plenty of information and recommendations on where to go and what to do—from a morning boat tour to kayak and bicycle rentals, plus laundry facilities, everything you need was available. Keep in mind that the homestay is a bit remote, further from the main river, but I found this to be an advantage. It allowed me to rent a kayak and explore the small canals easily. Additionally, the homestay is within walking distance from the train station—if you choose to walk, follow the road near the temple." ~Milda

"Pros: The house, location and ambience was very beautiful and serene. Cons: The kitchen is shared by the guests and the family. That felt concerning. But the hosts were very polite and chill, so it wasn't that of a major issue" ~Sharon

"Pros: Excellent homely food ,served with love and very moderately priced. The fish and prawns were fresh off the lake and cooked to perfection.Well located on the backwaters with easy access to the road as well as the waters. Has adequate safe parking on site.The host was very accommodative ,arranged boat rides and was polite.Could seamlessly connect to their wifi which was free.There were no restrictions on guest movement , offered privacy and the house seemed safe even for solo female travellers.The host stayed next door and was always available for any need..They even had solar power and the entire village seemed to be environment conscious.
