Stayvista's White Pebbles - A Villa With Theater Room & Swimming Pool

"Pros: Very spacious and so many areas to sit together as a group. We were a group of 20 people incl children and spacious ness was not an issue ever. The salient feature was the movie theatre that can easily accommodate around 15-17 folks comfortably. The main living room was spacious enough but the mezzanine one was even better in comfort though it could host only 10-12 folks. We opened up the sofa bed and made space available for 2-3 people more. The kids had a great time with movie, the table soccer, the TT table, carrom and the swimming pool along with the slides. The pool has a heating unit that can be used but it’s effectiveness in the monsoon and was not as much but was still a respite from the cold water.
There is a hill area nearby from where you can see the Khandala valley and the colourful goods trains passing through tunnels. We were lucky to see two trains crossing each other they the tunnels at the same time. The staff took us to the spot and showed us around. Amazing view with a nice stream that passes by.
Overall a great relaxed weekend holiday.
Cons: Some of the rooms had wet walls and were smelling damp. Though freshness were used it was still a bit smelly. But given the rains this is bound to happen at any such hilly rainy place. The wooden flooring in some places in the movie theatre room has come off and needs fixing to avoid any untoward incidents.
Biggest issue was coordinating with the StayVista staff esp Reena Thakkar who was very slow at responses on chat or even on phone calls. Moreover I got charged extra for a couple of kids and had to revert to them for a refund (awaited - been just 1 day).
Also we had to follow up for extra beddings to be provided. Most of these were of good thick size but a couple turned out to be slim ones. Fortunately only one person had to sleep on the slim ones so we put one over the other to make it thick and comfy.
The on-site staff was helpful and friendly esp.
Roshan who is the co-caretaker who helped us get and prepare some stuff for the group.
Remember to switch on the water heater in the bathrooms at least 5 mins before bath. It takes some time to heat up."
