"Pros: The building, the ambience, the decor…nice old world charm. Didn’t feel like a typical boring hotel. Location is superb and it’s clean. Cons: Couple of issues - the breakfast was very average. Hard idlis, badly cooked eggs…so wouldn’t recommend it for the food. Another issue was both my mother and my mother in law, who are senior senior citizens, were thankfully accommodated in the ground floor rooms (there are no lifts), but the beds in those rooms are so high (old style four poster beds) that it was difficult for them to get on and off. The stool to help get into the bed felt very dangerous to use at their age. So since the ground floor would usually be suitable for older people, they should change their beds to lower ones." ~Arati
