"Pros: This is an old haveli which has been renovated. The rooms are huge and beautifully done. The open terrace where they serve food is also very nice. Cons: This was erroneously marked in google maps showing its location to be near Chittor fort whereas in reality it is 25 km away and near the Bassi fort. As a result, we wasted a lot of time trying to locate the hotel and finally were able to arrive here after the owners shared their location via whatsapp. Also, this is an inconvenient place to stay if one does not have one's car. The only way for commute is to take the help of taxis arranged by the manager of the hotel and the price charged is exhorbitant. A round trip to Chittorgarh (about 50 km) costs half of the price for a round trip to Udaipur which is about 300 km." ~Sayan

"Pros: Busy bar and restaurant frequented by locals and tour groups making for pleasant buzzy atmosphere. Room basic but spacious and clean. Cons: Were ripped off by the restaurant who didn’t let us see the amount on the credit card machine before presenting it for PIN code. We were aware of this scam being possible but got distracted and fell for it. Overcharged by over £40." ~Philip
