White water rafting trips, Icelandic horse riding and whale watching can be arranged. Bakkaflöt Guesthouse’s bright, simple rooms provide views of the surrounding nature. Bathroom facilities are shared. Traditional Icelandic dishes are available for lunch and dinner from early May until mid September. Other facilities include a TV lounge, terrace and bar area. Hiking, horse riding and transfers from Keflavík International Airport can be arranged. Saudárkrókur Airport is a 30-minute drive from Guesthouse Bakkaflöt. Akureyri city centre is within 80 minutes’ drive.

If you expect to arrive outside check-in hours, please inform Bakkaflöt Guesthouse in advance. The restaurant is closed from mid September until early May.
