"Pros: The kitchen and dining area were very spacious. Complimentary cocoa, coffee, and tea were provided. The instructions for self-check-in and checkout were very clear. The room size was okay—not large, but much better than a typical hotel room in Tokyo. There were plenty of shared bathrooms and shower rooms. You can borrow a hair dryer at the reception desk. There are grocery stores and a gas station nearby. Btw, gas in Selfoss is way cheaper than Vik/hofn. Cons: The hostel is nearby the traffic, so you might hear some noise from outside traffic. And it's very easy to miss it because the hostel sign is small, so I had a hard time to find and park my car." ~Joyce
