"Pros: The breakfast was excellent and very filling hard boiled egg, ham, cheese, granola, yogurt, juice, tea or coffee, all served fresh by our host.
I’m not sure if options were available for vegetarian/vegan or those who require gluten free.
We were given a chocolate with the nighttime turndown service, when our hosts also drew the blackout curtains as it doesn’t get dark in midsummer.
The room also had a small sitting area and everything was immaculately clean.
The location was very convenient and very close to everything
Cons: Since we had to leave early on our day of departure, it might be nice if a small to go breakfast was an option- though there was coffee and a cookie in the room .
It was a little different that the front door remains locked and you have to ring the bell for entry throughout your stay.
It is a very small/intimate property and the hosts were always available for questions (and explanations of the Icelandic alphabet)
The only downside to the room was that the bathroom door opened out and almost hit the bed."

"Pros: Location was awesome.
Cons: It smelled like mold. We had to buy ingredients at Bonus to make a simmer pot to work through the smell.
The dishwasher was not run, so dirty dishes were still in the dishwasher.
Parking is not guaranteed. So you may have to pay to park. We did.
I wish the apartment was more updated .
Bathroom had rust and mildew was all over."
