Leirubakki Hotel is a small and cozy hotel that offers great personalised service and a top location in the South of Icealand, near Hekla, the volcano. The hotel has 14 rooms, each with a private bathroom. Each room is equipped with double beds, however beds can be switched out for either two or three single beds. It is also possible to set an additional single bed alongside a double bed, all based upon the wishes of our guests. In the building itself, guests will find a wonderful sitting area where they can sit down together after a full day of amazing adventures. There guests can also brew coffee or tea ​There is free internet access in the lobby and sitting area. Guests can enjoy the hot tub on the deck next to the hotel. The Viking Pool (Víkingalaugin) is also open to all guests at Leirubakki during the summer season.

Please note that the rates on this website are quoted in EUR but that guests are charged in ISK based on the official exchange rate. Please note that payment takes place at check-in. When booking 4 or more rooms, different policies may apply.

Free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not needed).
Pets are not allowed.
Children of any age are allowed. Children up to and including 3 years old stay for € 16 per person per night when using an available cot. Children up to and including 12 years old stay for free when using an existing bed. People 12 years old and over stay for € 60 per person per night when using an available extra bed. Any type of extra bed or child's cot/crib is upon request and needs to be confirmed by management. Supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
