"Pros: They call this part of the Balaton a ‘hidden gem’ for a good reason. It is hugged by a national park from inland. It has an unobstructed view of the highlands of Badacsony. The Sun sets behind the wine fields. An unforgettable scenery. There’s an excellent restaurant walking distance and a beach area, also 5 min walk. Because the hamlet is so hidden, there is no car traffic or railway noise. Cons: There are steps going up to the sleeping quarters, which is great for the young. It wasn’t doable for my 85 year old mom." ~Gabor
