"Pros: The sitting room / TV room contains the aircon which is powerful and cooled the room very quickly but it is the only aircon in the whole apartment. This room also contains the kitchen which has everything you'll need. The location is good, just a short drive outside Taploca town centre which is a lovely little town famous for its caves, although I found the mill pond and the stream most enchanting. It runs a short way through a park and wooded area with ducks and fish, mostly koi carp, waiting to be fed in the gin clear water flowing from the cave system Cons: Getting the keys was a bit of a fuss, especially as I was in a wheelchair.. A keysafe to get into the communal area with a transponder then up to the room for another keysafe for the door key to the apartment then get the car park remote for the entry barrier before I could park, and the reverse on the way out. The Bookings.com listing stated someone would meet us with the key. There was a double room and a twin room. Only the twin beds were made up, so there was no choice, and the beds could not be put together. The bathroom and especial[y the toilet were very small. Connecting the TV was very difficult and had to be done by the owner on her laptop, but she was very diligent in getting us connected. She was much more worried about it than we were." ~Paul

"Pros: Everything was perfect! The host was very nice and kind. We came a little bit later than normal check-in time, but he was very understanding and we had no problems with exchanging the keys. The apartman is super clean and well equipped, we were very impressed. Parking was free and close by. The apartman is ideal if you want to visit other cities around the Balaton, because the roads are good and the distances are not too big. Cons: It's hard to find anything that we did not like. The parking is a public parking spot, not private and it's on the street. This was not a problem for us at all, especially because we could see our car from the balcony and the neighborhood was very nice and quiet so we werent afraid of anything happening." ~Bernadett

"Pros: The apartment is very well equipped with washing machine/hanger/iron, dishwasher, Nespresso machine. The host is very comunicative and welcoming. Cons: The beddings were too warm for this season. I would have preferred just sheets, instead of a duvet." ~Mary
