"Pros: The apartment is quite conveniently located to the station and lake. Cons: There was no confirmation email from the apartment. Upon arrival, there was no staff member there. With the help of some friendly locals, we tracked down some staff via Facebook and internet searches. Eventually, I was told that someone else had booked the room (despite me having booked and paid for it a month before). I finally spoke to someone who could speak English with me, and he could only offer me an apology that the room was no longer available. He didn’t offer any alternative arrangements. Finally (90 mins after arrival), I found that the room was available for me and my partner and we could finally get access. Four Polish people arrived not long after we got to the room, and it seemed they were having similar trouble contacting the staff for check-in. The room was comfortable and clean enough. There was a kitchenette (although the fridge didn’t seem to work), but simple things were missing such as detergent or sponges in the sink, no bags for the bin, no tea towels, and the towels provided for the shower were just a hand towel. We paid 160 euros for the 2 nights we stayed. I have had much better experiences in hostels for 1/10th the price." ~Peter
