"Pros: Cosy and neat apartment with all facilities, close to the railway station. We found it easily. Check in instructions were very clear and we had no problems. Host sent us instructions with pictures which made it very easy.
The apartment is around 15-20 minutes walk from city centre. But Debrecen is a very walkable city. We preferred being near the railway station for our itinerary. On the day of arrival, we took the bus from the airport which dropped us near the station, short walk from there. On the day out, we checked out, took our bags to the railway station where we found large lockers for 1500 HUF for a day. Very convenient. Left them there to spend a day in Debrecen, before taking the train to Budapest.
Cons: The area around is very quiet early in the evening and not many eateries are open. We had arrived a bit late and found a MacDonald's. If you like a bit of liveliness, then perhaps something more central. That said, the location was perfect for our itinerary and if you want a quiet night and be near the station, this is for you. And Debrecen is a very small city and nothing is that far away."
