"Pros: The gardens were absolutely beautiful! We loved finding fresh avocados dropping from the trees, identifying the flowers, and seeing Bunches of bananas! The communal kitchen was wonderful. There were very sweet dogs to play with, and the boys were so happy to be able to drive their trucks in some dirt. We loved doing yoga on our little patio and sitting in the hammock. After spending time in the city, this was just a beautiful retreat! We also really enjoyed the weaving tour and the stingless bees tour that were included. Cons: The trade-off was that it was about a 10 minute walk to get into town. We love the composting toilets, but they did have a little bit of a smell. Might have been nice to be able to burn some incense at night. The mosquito nets over the beds were helpful, but it would have been great to have screens over the windows or door so we could open up." ~Corinna
