"Pros: Just to say that I am a frequent traveller and the comments/expectations below are based on experience and common sense and are a true representation of reality for other travellers to take into account. Nice house with all necessary appliances not too far from the beach. Steep way back from the beach to the house though. Not beach front as mentioned on the website though. Cons: Although booked via booking.com, the landlord asked to sign a rental contract. This was the first time I had to do that for a booking via booking.com. He said when one goes to a hotel, one is asked to sign a contract. I never signed any contract at any hotel. I however accepted. The landlord also asked for 120€ for bed sheets, towels and cleaning. I refused to pay and the landlord agreed. There was no mention of such a cost in the booking conditions and I therefore find it abusing. Also, if we want to align this to the hotel conditions, it must be noted that when you book a hotel room, the rate includes bed sheets and towels and cleaning, so this parallel is not acceptable. I never leave without cleaning the premises a bit and I told it to the landlord. This time I did a thorough cleaning and to be honest the house was cleaner than at the beginning of the holidays (initially there were spider webs on the inside stairs and dust). I rented the whole villa with 3 bedrooms for 4 people. We needed 3 rooms for the 4 people. Nevertheless, in the end, we were only 3 people and I informed the landlord. The surprise was that when we got to the villa, 1 bedroom was locked. When we spoke about it, I was told that if I wanted 3 bedrooms, I should have selected 6 people in the booking for the price was different. The landlord assumed that 2 bedrooms were enough for 4 people. The landlord’s assumption that 4 people means 2 couples is completely out of place and unacceptable. Also, the price requested for the villa for 4 people never mentioned 2 bedrooms only out of the three. It is however logical that if I needed 2 bedrooms for 4 people, I would have gone for a 2-bedroom villa. Moreover, all the villas that I had rented before were fully available regardless of the number of people. The air-conditioning did not work in 1 of the rooms. Unacceptable! No late check-in bcs other guests. You don't unplug the fridge if you have new guests arriving in a few hours. Unacceptable!" ~Bogdan

"Pros: We spent two wonderful weeks in Beauvalette. Our host, Bruno, welcomed us warmly with fresh fruits, delicious food, and a refreshing Rum punch. Throughout our stay, he was always available when needed. The bungalow was super clean, featuring a lovely terrace and a lush tropical garden with humming birds flying by. It was centrally located —just a short 10-minute walk to the town centre and the beach. Overall, our time in Beauvalette was truly delightful." ~Arthur
