"Pros: The location was great, tucked away in the countryside, away from the resort towns. But only a short drive to some of them as it’s sort of central south. You definitely need a car if you stay here. The outside space of the villa was gorgeous, big garden area, lovely pool, large terrace, local wildlife - swallows, geese, chickens, cats! The villa was spacious for a 1 bed, had everything we needed. The front doors are old style and very heavy, but the villa has a charm and character that we enjoyed. Astarte villas were very helpful with all our questions too! Cons: There was an old looking treadmill in the large bathroom, which we found odd and spoilt the bathroom a bit! It’s an old building, but nicely done, a few very minor DIY issues such as tightening the toilet seat, making sure wardrobe handles are secure would be great. The living room sofa bed is probably only suitable for younger children. But these are very minor things. We loved it there." ~Sue
