"Pros: We found it to be a most delightful little apartment with everything we needed for a short stay. Eleni was a most attentive and friendly host and she was able to tell us a bit about the region as well as help us with some things we needed to know in Greek. Walking down through her gorgeous garden, over the dunes to the sea side was really special. It is a most wonderful protected area - we were intrigued to find out that it became a nature reserve only three years ago because of turtles nesting in the dunes. That means no more building near the dune landscape, which is very good news. The village nearby is perfect for buying food and eating out, a very friendly place. We were particularly delighted by all the flowering shrubs in this very verdant part of Greece as well as the marvellous trees, including many mulberry trees. Eleni’s place is right in the middle of this area. Although it was very hot, the air conditioning worked well, and we loved our little balcony with its very efficient canopy. The wi-fi was really efficient too, so we were able to catch up with things we needed to do online. Thank you for a lovely stay! Cons: The ants were a pain, getting into many of our food containers, even unopened jars! But you always have to watch out for them in hot countries so we were glad to have plenty of bags and rubber band to secure packaging - and they couldn’t get into the fridge!" ~Liz
