"Pros: Villa Margie is better in reality than shown in the photos. We were met by Alexandra who kindly showed us around the property and showed us where everything was. Welcome drinks and snacks were provided including local nougat and wine! Host Maria was always available by phone to provide help. The garden and pool areas are very private and not overlooked. A new set of stairs has been added to provide direct access to the pool area from the downstairs balcony outside the dining room. There is also a new pergola and large umbrellas to provide shade when eating outdoors or sunbathing. Although next to a road and only 20 minutes from the airport, it was still very peaceful. The whole villa is equipped to a very high standard and was spotless. A cleaner comes every second day (fresh towels were much appreciated) and the pool and garden are also tended twice per week. AC works very well. Tsilivi "town" is a 5 minute stroll away with a range of entertainment and restaurants. Lively but not rowdy at all. Restaurants and bars are many and good. Local supermarkets are well stocked and reasonably priced if you want to self-cater. In Zante, everyone was helpful and welcoming. A perfect place for a very relaxing holiday!
The beach is 5 minutes walk away and was busy in July but not crowded. Calm sea. Clear water. Interesting reef about 200m out with small fish. Good snorkelling. Can walk around 50m into the sea. Public toilets available but not clean and no toiletries. Several bars and restaurants. Not many buskers thankfully, selling the usual donuts, trinkets or Thai massage. Water sports available. The beach is golden sand with some small rocks but these are easy to clear away. Free spot on the sand or sunbeds and shelters available to hire.
Cons: We only had 6 days there. Hopefully, next time can be longer!"

"Pros: Superbly equipped and year old villas (2) which we used for an extended family holiday. Villa, garden, pool area finished to an exceptional standard and very well equipped. Amalia our host was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Both villas have a lovely view over open farm land towards the sea (approx 400m), which you could see from the upstairs balconies. Location on the outskirts of Tsivili was ideal - as it was generally quiet (a little traffic) but close to the shops, restaurants and beach. Made for an exceptional family holiday.
