From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and enthusiasm by the owners, setting the tone for what turned out to be an unforgettable experience. A really warm welcome! What truly sets this property apart is its unique design and attention to detail. Every corner seemed to exude charm and sophistication, making it clear that this was no ordinary accommodation. The blend of modern amenities with thoughtful touches of local culture created an ambiance that was both inviting and inspiring. Our bedroom with en suite bathroom, was a sanctuary of comfort, boasting stylish furnishings and breathtaking panoramic sea view. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the plush bedding to the sleek bathroom amenities. However, what truly took our breath away was the mesmerizing view of Chania, combined with a private Jacuzzi on the terrace! Perched in a location that offers panoramic view of this charming city, every moment spent gazing out at the landscape felt like a scene from a postcard. Whether it was admiring the sunset hues painting the sky or watching the city come to life as night fell, the view from the property was simply unparalleled. A clue was that Chania town center is less than 10 minutes driving distance. We had to work on line so; the provided internet was extremely good for us! If you're looking for a truly memorable experience, I highly recommend booking a stay at this hidden gem. We can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories. "Pros: Royal Legend Suite is SUPERB! Read it all, please! We were met by Vangelis ( Kyriakos's father), who handed us the keys. When we got in, we found a great welcome with a plate of Cretan sweet honey delights, a little like Baklava, several bottles of water in the fridge, not to mention a bottle of Raki and two raki glasses. On my birthday, both Vangelis and his wife knocked on the door, hands full, with a delicious plate of homemade Moussaka! How fantastic is that, eh? It has absolutely everything you will ever need, loads of towels, sheets and everything you would have in your own home such as a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave oven, standard fan oven ,ceramic hob, loads of utensils,air conditioning and much more. The location is in the pretty small village of Tsiskalaria which is up a hill from nearby Souda, with all the amazing and very friendly locals, RLS is immediately opposite the small local Greek Orthodox church which we attended on Sunday. A car is a must although for the first three days we used the local bus service no 22 which leaves Tsikalaria near the elementary school every two hours,its down a hill just 5 minutes walk down the hill but remember you have to come back UP the hill ! I did it and I'm 83 and disabled and all the locals do it as well,having said all that ! Get a car :) RLS has its own private parking close by.( Photo of bus timetable from Tsikalaria) Chania and Souda and everything that they have to offer is within very easy reach, I could go on and on and all I can say is we have only been back 4 days and we are already missing it ! Garden House With Pool, 10min To Center

"Pros: This was an excellent property for a family holiday. In the foothills south of Chania, there is a gentle breeze for much of the day to offset the sun. Originally the family home, it is set in gardens with orange, lemon, fig and mango trees, with fresh fruit ripe for picking. The house sleeps 10 adults comfortably and the owners were very accommodating with a request for an additional baby cot. Air conditioning in the bedrooms and shutters to all the windows ensure a comfortable temperature. A first-floor balcony that surrounds the house gives an area of shade all through the day, with a large balcony to enjoy dinner and watch the sunset, and a separate BBQ area in the grounds. The hotel-standard swimming pool is very clean and is professionally maintained by the owners who live next door and are on hand to help with any questions. We found the owners to be a delightful family, welcoming and attentive whilst ensuring privacy. Quite simply, they made our holiday. Cons: Nothing" ~Kay
