Iakovina met us only 2 minute walk from port and gave us lots of really useful information on Syros island plus some gifts. Lovely lady who made herself available throughout our stay for questions and help.
Apartment beautifully appointed with everything you need for a very comfortable short stay. Lovely balcony overlooking the hubbub of the port and harbour, plus a big tranquil terrace out back for relaxing. When one had sun, the other had shade and vice-versa.
Cons: Nothing…..all was good."

"Pros: We loved our stay here! Perfect location, literally a few minutes walk (flat, not uphill) from the ferry, not far from lots of great restaurants & bars, also some beaches, plus it’s just next to the local bus stop if you want to explore the rest of the island. We had a room with a little balcony overlooking the port which was beautiful! The beds were super comfortable, great shower. Staff were wonderful! Very friendly & welcoming, helpful with local information & happy to lug my giant suitcase up 2 flights of stairs which I very much appreciated. Cafe downstairs is a lovely place to sit & watch the world go by.
Cons: It didn’t bother us but the noise from the main street & ferries in the port can be quite loud if you like to keep the balcony doors open. It seemed to block a bit of noise if you closed them. Again, we quite liked the ambience of being in the thick of town but if you’re a light sleeper it might not be the best for you (at least the rooms facing the front)"
