"Pros: The owner met us in town and offered us a lift to the villa. There is a lot of walking involved currying the suitcases as the villa in not reachable by any means of transportation, no road, a tiny path and then you have to walk through the beach, except by boat, if owners chose to offer this service as I saw from nearby villas it would be much easier. But once you get there, the place is private, right on a secluded beach, the water unbelievable clean and fresh! We even had a canoe which we could use free of charge. The house is traditional, clean and has an unbelievable view of the sunrise. There is a Restaurant and a Snack Bar on the other side of the beach, and a sea taxi to take you to town, but the last one goes 6:00 pm. We had to ask Yiannis to offer us a lift back with a charge of 10 euro. Taxis are scurs also. Finding cold water and fruit in the fridge upon arrival was a nice touch. Also if you chose to cook there is everything you need in the kitchen. We found a lot of books in the living room and playing cards if you got bored. Overall it was a fantastic stay! Cons: Villa a bit expensive. Hard to arrive there, far from everything, even if you rent a motorbike or a car you have to leave it far away. no supermarket or convenience store nearby you must be prepared and shop in town before getting there. Beds are on the floor, a bit hard when you are older, no cupboards to hung clothes, house layout inside a bit strange, you have to go through a bedroom and the kitchen to get to the bathroom so no privacy if rented by couples. But we knew about it beforehand, we didn't mind as we were 3 girlfriends. Bathroom on the small side. We even experienced an electricity black out of the whole island one evening." ~Katia
