"Pros: The location of this apartment, within walking distance from the port, is amazing. The view across the harbour was spectacular. From the apartment you can walk around Symi easily. There are many restaurants and cafes close by and a number of supermarkets. We caught the local bus to other parts of the island. The apartment was comfortable and the kitchenette allowed us enjoy breakfast and snacks on the balcony. The manager of the apartment was easy to contact and provided us with access details to the property which were easy to follow. Cons: Nothing" ~June

"Pros: Clean room, Good air-conditioner, bar fridge, comfy bed, good location close to supermarket and shops. Big enough for 1 person. Cons: The host (as lovely and helpful as she is) was confused about my booking and said someone else was staying there. She sorted it out and sent someone to clean the room as it wasn't ready for my stay and give me the key. There was no soap to wash your hands in the bathroom or any for the shower...I had to call to ask for some. The host sent the same cleaner to bring it 1hour later and who didnt bother knocking on the door and came straight in with her own key. There were no shampoo or conditioner or any dishwashing iquid either. There was only 1 roll of toilet paper. There are no power points in the bathroom, so I had to buy an extension cord and attach it to the one outside the bathroom door so I could use my hairdryer and get ready in front of the mirror. There is a spare tiny mirror on a shelf in the main room, but was too awkward to use.There is no TV, even though I could see an aerial cable. When it was time to check out, I had no idea where to leave the key as I could not get a hold of the host. I left the key under a fixture at a boutique the host owns in Simi harbour and took a photo and sent to her. The boutique and the apartment don't show up on google maps, so it was a bit of a struggle to find. Lastly, there are over 40 steps to get to the room which was challenging with luggage." ~Kathy

"Pros: We liked the apartment, the bed was comfy, clean bedding and towels. Rainfall shower head and warm water. Fridge freezer/washing machine/cooker/cutlery/pans etc. Had complimentary toiletries. Good location. Air conditioning. Good WiFi Cons: There were 57 uneven steps to the apartment but a lot of the dwellings on Simi were up steep steps. 40 minute walk from the harbour. No tv/hairdryer/tea/coffee." ~Barry
