"Pros: Surrounded by olive trees, up on a hill above the town of Skopelos. Beautiful views of the islands, Aegan Sea and olive trees. The private swimming pool is great. The whole place is secluded, private and quiet with a 15 minute access to the Skopolos town by car. Friendly and extremely helpful owner/ host. Well equipped with 2 bathrooms, washing machine, full kitchen including dish washer. Cons: You absolutely need a car to get up to the house. It is steep." ~H.m

"Pros: The pool the view and the feeling of tranquility Cons: Air conditioning in the ground floor bedroom was not as good as in the top room . "Pros: We were met at the port and followed Andreas to the villa which was great as would have been a little difficult to find on our own so great service. Cons: Like everyone has commented, be prepared for a bumpy drive to the villa - it’s worth it & the view is stunning. Didn’t bother us as we’ve driven around worse roads & tracks." ~Helen

"Pros: We have just returned from 10 wonderful days at Danai villa. What an incredible experience! The villa is really well thought out and very well stocked kitchen. We loved the little welcome basket after a long day of travelling. The pool is huge with a good depth with a lip all around which is ideal for not so confident swimmers. All of the outside area is amazing. We particularly liked having the dining table close to the house to be close to the kitchen whilst still enjoying the views. The whole place was immaculately clean, and was regularly cleaned inside and out by a lovely lady. We want to say the biggest thank you to the host Lia. Who was so friendly, helpful and just a generally great person. The local taxis arent keen on getting to this villa, but lia organised some drivers for us multiple times. We would also recommend getting the local drivers to drop you near a villa on the ring road! The local supermarket will also deliver to you, especially it seems if you use the connections that Lia has on the island! Air conditioning worked great, good smart TV which we were able to log our own Netflix on to. Cons: The walk is not for the faint hearted! Walking down to town is easy in about 20 minutes, back up is exhausting! Would recommend you hire a car, but prior warning its up some steep and high roads so only if confident. However it is manageable without a car just takes some organising!!" ~Rebekah
