"Pros: The location is perfect if you want to be alone, away from the city and other accommodations. The house is basically in the middle of the island on top of a hill, surrounded by forest, the views are fantastic everywhere you turn your head, the nature is stunning. To get to the house, you will need to have your own car or rent one. Renting Jimmy was the best option for us. The nearest road to accommodation from the city is mostly steep and narrow. I would say it is not recommended for large cars or cars with low ground clearance. Especially the last 50 m to the accommodation where you have a steep dirt road with potholes and sharp turns. Other roads on the island are very good. In addition to the road that leads directly from the main city, there are two other roads that take you to the other side of the island and all the popular beaches. The house is beautiful inside and out, full of little things that make life easier, the kitchen has practically everything you will ever need (except for the oven), the living room has a nice TV and DVD player with tons of movies on CDs. The dining room has a cabinet full of board games. The bedroom and the bathroom that are above the living room are new and very nice. Cons: I don't know when the driveway was last mowed, but when we arrived the yard was full of tall and thin weed that could have been mowed. Also, there was a lot of residue from previous mowing that had dried and made the car very slippery going uphill. There is a drastic difference between the two bedrooms and the bathroom, the older part of the house needs to be renovated to be comparable to the new one. In the old part of the house the bathroom on the first floor is small, much older with no windows that can be opened and poorly lit. The bathtub is impractical and with no curtains. The bedroom above the kitchen looks nice at first glance, but it is old and not practical. No real bed, more of a storage space with a mattress on top, air conditioner is old but works, no proper mosquito net, everything creaked. One night the wind was blowing hard and it was impossible to sleep. Incomparable with the second bedroom and bathroom. Enjoying or eating outside the house on one of the terraces was not possible due to large amount of wasps on the island. Our biggest complaint would be the cleanliness of the house, it was full of dust and cobwebs. Those who are allergic to dust and mites, and some of us are, will find it difficult to breathe and sleep. And yes, forget about privacy. There is no proper door to divide the two bedrooms." ~Mmarceta

Nestled up in the picturesque hills, this villa offered the perfect retreat from the beautiful beaches we explored around the island. The villa itself was charming and well-appointed, providing all the comforts of home in a stunning natural setting. Waking up each morning to the panoramic views of the rolling hills and glistening sea was simply breathtaking. The villa's location allowed us to feel immersed in the tranquil, rural atmosphere of the island, yet it was still conveniently close to the main town and other attractions. One of the highlights was the villa's spacious outdoor patio by the pool, where we spent many hours relaxing and taking in the spectacular vistas. Whether enjoying our meals al fresco or simply sipping our coffee while admiring the scenery, this private oasis felt like our own little slice of paradise. The villa's interior was equally impressive, with charming, traditional Greek decor and all the modern amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. "Pros: Beautiful property and surroundings. Well equipped and wonderfully clean. Swimming pool was perfect. Friendly goats in the adjacent field and lovely family of cats visited every day. Our host left a very generous welcome pack which we really appreciated after a long day of travelling. Cons: There is nothing we didn't like but its worth noting you will need a car and there are no restaurants within walking distance." ~Caroline
