"Pros: Charming, homely, house where all of our needs were seen to. Contact with the owner was friendly and prompt. Sivas is a beautiful village with great access to small stores, tavernas, and sight seeing in the wider plain area." ~Connor
"Pros: The guest house is slightly out of the centre but is well signposted. There is plenty of parking opposite, and it is an easy walk into the town if you want to have a meal or go shopping; The family, Michaelis, Georgia and their mum, are delightful and do everything to make your stay enjoyable. This is a real family home and very local in style and facilities. so do not expect matching furniture or a pillow menu! This is simple but honest accommodation, with hot water, excellent WiFi and a delicious breakfast using local ingredients including fruit and jam from their own garden. There is a sense of calm and peace, and the feeling that the cares of the world can wait until tomorrow. The guest house does not provide evening meals but recommended a visit to Mr Mo's tavern in the village which is owned by Georgia's husband. We had a tasty dinner at a very fair price and would recommend other guests to try this tavern on the main square, even though it has plenty of competition, the service was friendly and efficient. It would be a pleasure to return to both the guest house and the restaurant.
Cons: Nothing. This is simple accommodation but typical of real Crete rather than the big tourist hotels." ~Amanda
