"Pros: Stunning place, gorgeous sea view, very friendly attitude by the hostesses with one of the best welcome baskets I have ever come across. I drove around most of Crete and this was one of the greatest locations. Nice and quiet little fishing village, ideal starting point to explore some of the most beautiful beaches on the island. I am definitely coming back here. Cons: In the rare case that you’re unlucky enough to get rainy weather - as was my case - it would be nice to have at least a small corner with proper shed, so that you may still be able to sit outside." ~Leonidas

"Pros: We had an amazing stay at Villa Maistro in Mochlos! The villa has direct access to a beautiful, almost private beach via a small path that leads down to the shore, with shallow waters—ideal for our 2-year-old daughter. The house is very clean, nicely decorated, and well-equipped with everything we needed (fridge, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher), making it very convenient for a family stay. There is also a large terrace with a stunning view of the sea, complete with a table and the option to dine outside, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The surroundings are peaceful, yet within walking distance to the charming village with great restaurants and a mini-market. The hosts, Maria and George, were incredibly kind and responsive. During a village-wide power outage, they quickly liaised with the provider and kept us informed, even contacting restaurants operating on generators. When the internet needed resetting afterward, they came by the same day to fix it, despite it being their children's first day of school. We couldn’t have asked for better hospitality or a more relaxing environment. Highly recommended!" ~Andreea
