"Pros: My wife and I stayed at Avista Suites, Imerovigli, between October 9th- October 13th. Firstly, the caretaker, Lampros was fantastic. His supporting Staff - Edela and George were awesome as well. Lampros was attentive and responsive to our queries as we prepared for our trip. Upon arrival, he helped with advice related to sight-seeing logistics - tips that only locals know, traffic/crowd considerations, weather considerations, ideal places to visit etc., car-rentals, restaurant recommendations, and such. He also arranged our taxi service to and from the ferry port, Athinios. Lampros was very personable and willing to help with anything to ensure our stay was comfortable. Such a delightful person. Next, with respect to the place itself, it is very clean and well appointed and has all required modern conveniences. It is close to the famed walkway that skirts the Caldera, restaurants, cafes, grocery stores etc. Imerovigli and Avista is quiet and offers a lot of privacy - This is premium in a place like Santorini. Can't beat private viewing of sunsets looking across the Caldera, while lounging in our hot-tub, from the highest vantage point on Santorini (highest accommodation on the island).
