"Pros: I stayed at Villa Irini with one of my friends while we Island hopped in Greece this summer. We had a fantastic experience staying here. The owner organised our collection from the port and to the port on our last day to the ferries. The location was ideal, a less than 5 minute walk to supermarkets, restaurants, bars and the beach. There was also a open air cinema close by, where we got to see the new Barbie movie. It was also recommended by the owner to us to do a glass bottom boat tour for the day which was amazingas we got to swim in the hot springs, see the volcano and also the sunset in Oia. On our last day after we checked out we were told we could use the pool while we waited for our taxi which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend staying here as it was our favourite place we have stayed in Greece which was definitely down to the staff, the location and the comfortability of the stay." ~Anonymous

"Pros: The staff at the Hippocampus could not have been nicer. The rooms were clean, the grounds are absolutely immaculate and you get to witness each day the hard work the staff put in to keep it that way. The breakfast was always a highlight of the day! Great choice, quality ingredients. There was a rainstorm while we were there and it caused a lot of mess for the groundskeeper but he worked tirelessly to get it back to the high standard it was on a good day. The pools were lovely. I cannot WAIT to come back. Bonus for me was the cat Pantheras who also made us so welcome" ~Grace
