"Pros: The complex is family run and a lot of pride is taken to keep it in this pristine state. We specifically stayed in this part of Rethymno to be close to where our daughter was staying. It may be a little too far for some, if you are wanting to be closer to town, but for us, it was perfect, with lots of lovely restaurants nearby. Everything you see in the pictures, the beach, the pool, the bar area and the rooms are the same. The family feel is evident throughout and nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Maria for our amazing stay, and to Marius and Ilias for their excellent chocolate milkshakes etc. Cons: The atmosphere of the second week was not so nice due to a large group of people arriving. The first week was much more sedate and enjoyable. All of this is outside of Ilian's control though." ~Jayne
