"Pros: the original structure and design of the house is very beautiful in a rustic & traditional way. lovely village and very welcoming owner who very kindly and patiently accomodated our arrival and check-out times to meet our needs and also helping us with luggage when greeting and on departure. Additionaly, we forgot an item at the house and the owner offered to meet us in Rethymno to return it to us. Very kind! The house is a great match for fmailies who want their own place in a traditional cosy village. Including a pool. Great for children. The inside of the house was extremely clean. The house certainly has a "real" feel to it. Cons: Some more attention to tiny details would be nice; the outside pool area was a rare treat with pool & grill, but a bit neglected; a bucket and mop right by the front door, the seating needed repairs & cleaning (dried bird droppings & stains from past glasses), cushions loosing the stuffing, a sun umbrella that didn't open, rip in the curtain and the pool needed a quick clean. Generally, some loving details here could turn the outside courtyard into an amazing experience." ~Ruth
