"Pros: Very good equipped house inside the old town of Rethymnon. Nearby a public parking which is round about 300m away from the house. The beginning of shops, taverns, bars etc. is max 100m from Daria's and is nevertheless very quitly. Cons: The roof top furnishings have changed. Now there are only two sunbeds, a little table and a parasol. The old pictures showed lounge furnitures. The outside part from the ac for the bedroom in the first floor is noisy. Please let them repair or replace it with a new one." ~Firemaster

"Pros: A beautiful villa which has been lovingly renovated over a 2 year period. The attention to detail is exceptional. The position is perfect in the old town with just a 5 minute walk to the restaurants & shops. Ageliki was the perfect host who provides such a generous welcome pack, which is the best that we have ever received from a host before. It meant that we did not need to go shopping when we arrived as everything has been provided. There is a superb bbq with everything required. A shed holds games, for playing in the pool for all ages. There are games to play & books to read. Everything is so well labelled that nothing left to chance. If there was a problem Ageliki was just at the end of a phone or email & she was so welcoming & obliging. There was an excellent bakery on the next street & a great selection of restaurants very nearby. Cons: The only thing which might put people off is the graffiti on some of the walls in the little narrow streets. Don’t let it put you off as there is quite a lot of graffiti in Rethymno. For people with mobility problems the taxi cannot drive right up to the villa. It’s about 10 minutes walk to the drop off point. The staircase in the villa would not be suitable for people who struggle with staircases although there is a bedroom on the ground level. To access shower you have to climb into it ." ~Eileen
