"Pros: The view from this apartment is absolutely breathtaking, truly one of the best we've ever experienced. The location is a dream if you're looking for peace and quiet. The beach is incredible, sandy and surprisingly uncrowded, even during peak season. We loved the balcony's orientation, which kept it out of the direct sun in the morning and gave us beautiful light in the late afternoon. Being remote and away from the busy tourist hubs was exactly what we wanted. The practicalities were also great. Accessing the property by car was straightforward; the road is a bit tight, but manageable for a standard car. The private road to the beach is a fantastic perk, and the outdoor shower is a thoughtful touch for rinsing off sand. The owner was a pleasure to deal with, communication was perfect, and he was always responsive and ready to help, a truly great guy who goes the extra mile. We also appreciated the small conveniences like the washing machine and the few pods left for us. Another great plus is self check in, that way you're not limited on time :) Cons: There are some areas that could be improved. While we understand it's an issue across the island, the number of wasps was a bit of annoying, nothing owner can do but just a heads up. The main drawback is the apartment itself. It's visibly old and feels a bit neglected. There seems to be some odd cost-cutting happening that detracts from the stay. For example, we only had one wine glass, no proper kitchen knives, a single beat-up cutting board, and the indoor/outdoor chairs were the cheapest possible and very uncomfortable. The mosquito nets were also falling apart, and the stove is old and cheap. While we appreciated the owner leaving things like mosquito repellents and a bottle of wine, it felt like many of the other kitchen staples (salt, oil, etc.) were just leftovers from previous guests. Beds are decent, not too hard, not too soft. Water pressure is bad but does the job. Ultimately, we're giving this a solid 8/10. While the apartment has its quirks, the owner's kindness and helpfulness, combined with the truly world-class view and amazing beach, made the experience overwhelmingly positive. This place has incredible potential, and a very small investment in amenities would easily make it a perfect 10." ~Nejc
