"Pros: The hosts were amazing, friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about our stay. Any issues were sorted quickly, and they even added a microwave for us. The apartment was spotless with no mould, high-quality finishings, a large fridge/freezer, and an excellent oven and stove. Beds were super comfy, and the wrap-around deck was a real bonus. It’s pet-friendly, full of natural light, and has air con in all rooms. The buzzer/intercom on the front door was super handy. You can speak to people outside and buzz them in. It’s on the first floor with no lift, but that actually made things easier. No waiting around, and the building is very quiet with only three tenants. The location is perfect. Just 2 mins from restaurants, the beach, supermarkets, and even a vet. If you love dinner on the beach, you’ll be spoiled for choice here. So many places right at the water's edge, and the prices are very reasonable. Plus, there are hairdressers, ice cream shops, pharmacies and bakeries all around. Many people speak English, it's no problem. Quiet at night, and the double-glazed windows plus mesh screens meant no mozzies. Easily one of the best host families we’ve ever had. From the Mum, Dad and two sons, everyone was so kind and helpful, they even accepted deliveries for us. Cons: Some minor drainage quirks due to the original building design, but nothing the owners can really change, and they respond quickly if anything comes up, so it’s not a big deal. The second shower can get messy if you're not careful, but again, it's just the way it was built." ~Cj
