"Pros: Lovely 1 bedroom apartment in a great location within Naxos old town. Spectacular views from the balconies out across the harbour to Paros, particularly lovely at sunset. All rooms are a good size and well furnished. Probably better for short stays. Maria and the team are responsive to questions and we're helpful before and during our stay. Tips - If you arrive by taxi from the airport, ask the driver to drop you near the bakery/pharmacy/supermarket on Sokratous Papavasiliou for an easier flatter walk to the apartment. Apartment is above the Drink In Peace restaurant. (Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper as the restaurant is open late. The patio doors provide some sound proofing though.) Cons: Balconies would benefit from a canopy being added. The lack meant they were fairly unusable from late morning to late afternoon and the apartment got really hot as the curtains were thin. Cooling system wasn't as efficient as aircon. Welcome information should include information about frequency/timing of mid stay cleaning & provision of fresh towels/bedding. We were initially left with the impression that cleaning was our responsibility and thought that no additions would be provided. (There is a washing machine, but only 3 capsules provided). Also should provide sufficient toilet rolls for the length of the stay. Essentials lacking for longer stays. Kitchen also needs some additional basic items, e.g. bread knife, chopping board, bottle opener/corkscrew. Water fire extinguisher in the kitchen, when it should be CO2 or powder. Some of these feel like small issues, but during a 10 day stay they became important and impacted our comfort and the experience we were looking for during our time in Naxos." ~Debra
