"Pros: Noemi's house is an absolute treasure! Located just steps from the main gate means trekking from your car to your lodging with your luggage an easy dream. The accommodation is so comfortable it feels like home… only better! At street level are basically three bedrooms and a living area, and downstairs a good kitchen with a gathering table and chairs, bathroom and the ultimate terrace, with a couple sitting areas. We were completely charmed from the moment we arrived. The town itself is a Byzantine jewel and you are residing within the castle walls. Definitely walk up to the top of the massive tied island and explore the extensive archaeology as well as the Hagia Sofia replica of the Constantinople original. The food and beverage scene is top-notch, and there are dozens of original shops with local products from jewelry to wines. The swimming was excellent, from the little ramp to the sea." ~Kim
