"Pros: Maria, the host is kind and attentive. She waited for us to arrive (10PM) to walk us through the property and facilities before handing us the keys. She filled the fridge with bottles of water, juice and homemade jams and provided homemade snacks, which were delicious and very appreciated. The view from this windmill is incomparable - the sunrise and sunset views from here are exquisite. A lot of cats wander the area and will come and hang out with you if you're sitting on the terrace. Place is cleaned daily and beds are comfortable. There's enough space to park a car if you hire one and it's a short walking distance to restaurants, shops and the popular town of Plaka. We were so happy we picked this place to stay while in Milos.
Cons: Didn't realise this but the area where the Windmill is located is popular with exploring tourists. We had a couple of people forcefully trying to enter the property. We had to tell several groups of people to stop trying to come in and kept the locks down to further enforce the door but the walls around the windmill are not that high, so not always the best for privacy during the daytime. Maybe a sign on the door to say "private property: do not enter" or something similar to that effect may give your guests more assurance of safety and privacy."
