"Pros: This place might genuinely be the most special place I’ve visited on a holiday. It has stayed with me. There are no luxuries, but it is an important reminder that we actually don’t need much. This place is all about the location. The views from the windows. The sea lapping. The goat bells chiming. The sea fairing cats, who we couldn’t help but adore. The sun rises. The swimming. The star gazing. All utterly wonderful. We were unlucky (so we initially thought) because the taverna was closed for the exact dates we were there. However, it also meant we genuinely had the place to ourselves. It was magical. Kelly was so helpful and kind. There was a very generous supply of coffee, oil, milk, butter. Kelly helped recommend where to go and especially on windier days which beaches to visit. We explored a lot of the island, but we always loved coming back to the house. We absolutely want to come back. Thank you 🙏🏼 Cons: Initially I thought I wanted more cooking facilities but we managed and it was really nice to keep things simple. It has a steep ladder to the bedrooms so might be tricky for the elderly or immobile." ~Consuela

"Pros: the location was incredible and quiet! wonderful wildlife, goats everywhere, birds, insects! just incredible. the hosts were so nice and very helpful. the area around it is very green and luscious and different to other parts of the island. it is off the beaten track but so worth it! great to be able to access the busier parts of the island and then return to somewhere so quiet and beautiful. "Pros: My partner and I recently stayed at this beautiful house in Milos, and it was the perfect retreat. Spacious, quiet, and welcoming like a countryside home, it offered a wonderfully peaceful escape. The host was always available when needed. You also have a fantastic view of the caldera and the the port town of Adamantas from the back of the house. The highlight of our stay was enjoying a home-cooked meal in the garden with a stunning sunset, followed by a night of stargazing. The Milky Way was clearly visible just outside the front gate. You will need a 4x4 car if you choose to stay here, and the closest grocery store it's 20-min away by car. For a relaxing, quiet, and romantic getaway, this place is spot on." ~Chiara
