"Pros: Location @ Megalokhori perfect! Limited crowds from the boats who all centred at Oia & Fira. We hired a car & went super early (7am) to beat the tourist Mecca at those locations, warning!!!, 100’s of selfi vogue photos happening, & professional photographers who thought they had agency to the best viewing points, go early if you want uninterrupted photos! Car hire easy through the manager Esther, who was great & full of information & helpful with tips. Beach close only with a vehicle, we went to Popeye beach, beds €10 each, a cafe & food if you wanted, we had our own picnics which was fine. Outdoor shower & amenities. Really good value for all day, again not too crowded, but popular once discovered. Parking over the road, free. BEWARE OF ORGANISED TRANSFER! Search around we were cheated, €40 for 5 mins from port to accomodation!
