"Pros: Very cozy and well equipped flat in renewed old house just in the center of Makri. Very welcoming host with many instructions, helpful and kind. Garden with bbq and parking. All this in the beauty of North Greece. Just perfect! Will come back again here." ~Asen

"Pros: location is very close to village by walk. there are a real good bakery, a taberna and a fastfood restaurant. Several domestic süper markets and an Apotheke also located at the center of Village. Makrı Port is just 800 mt by walk and has good restaurants too. House owners Nicky and His wife were very warm, smiley and helpful. Kitchen was equipped with brand new stuffs, Aircondition was very powerful. Specially, a bottle of pink wine and other surprices in frigder were very nice. Cons: Makri is a small village and therefore no street names, just postcode.. digital maps couldnt find the addresses very well. Our gMAP bring us to somewhere and navigation ended but there was'nt the right place , We parked and walked at naighborehoods streets and 30 minutes after we promised , we could met with House Owners. Facilities should put their Nameplates to joints at mainstreet." ~Osman

You have direct access at the beach which is plus but here is come the minus also - the beach is very rocky, not impossible to swim but you have to be committed to! Location is perfect for 8 persons, big living for having the breakfast together, the kitchen well equipped. The host is communicative and it will give good instructions about what to do in the neighborhood. Olives factory near, Alexandropolis 10 minutes drive distance, all in one is a very good place to stay a week. Cons: Everything was ok, there was nothing in particular that caused us any discomfort." ~Dragos
