"Pros: Our host, Kostas, was extremely warm and welcoming and gave us the low-down on all the best places to eat and visit during our 5-day stay on the west side of the island. The accommodation was perfect for us, comfortable and well equipped. The veranda looked out across the sea towards Argostoli where we sat in the cool evening air and enjoyed all the twinkling lights and passing boats. A 2 minute walk takes you to the small sandy beach in front of the apartment. There are loungers and umbrellas, a canoe to paddle and kids beach toys. There are also bicycles - all available at no extra cost. The calm waters here are delicious. If you are driving here, take the ferry from Argostoli to Lixouri. It costs €9 for the car and 2 passengers and is a lovely way to see this part of the island. We were lucky enough to watch a pod of dolphins playing as we sailed. We loved our stay here and recommend it highly." ~Daniel
