"Pros: Excellent central location from which to explore the whole island (during my trip I rented a car). With Skala Kallonis nearby, there are plenty of good restaurants and a nice beach at walking distance. The host was very nice, every day the room was cleaned well, and most days the host left some traditional greek treats for me, which were really good! All windows were fitted with mosquito netting, so I had no problems with any mosquitos during my stay :). Also reasonably close to the Kalloni salt pans, which are an excellent location for watching Flamingo's, Pelicans, and other birds, especially nice during spring migration (which was slowing down when I was there at the end of May)." ~Anonymous
