"Pros: We stayed in Avra, it was beautifully presented and the perfect space for us and 2 teens. They enjoyed the free wifi and tv with YouTube, we all enjoyed the private pool and privacy with a gorgeous view. Krystalenia was a fantastic host with some great tips for places to go on the island, which we would not otherwise have discovered. She was always on hand and personally replaced a broken toaster really quickly. The local town Lazarata has a good bakery and a couple of shops for basics. Location is remote so you need a car and some brave pills to drive the crazy mountain roads! We loved the villa and would definitely return. Cons: There was some noise at night from local dogs, but this was of course totally out of the control of the villa. Expect some honey bees around the pool during hot days, they were not a problem for us." ~Sarah
